Lancaster Craft Beerfest

The first Lancaster Craft Beerfest brought over 2,000 people, 36 craft breweries, and 78 different beers to downtown Lancaster, PA. The sell out event helped bring awareness to a great selection of beers and breweries, as well as local food and craft venders.

Joycat's focus from the start was to be selective and careful about every aspect of the event to create a consistent aesthetic of a tasteful and exciting event, and to avoid the appearance over commercializing. This meant making strategic choices about everything from our site selection, to our logo, to our sponsors, to our live music, to banners and marketing materials, to ticket sales, to our social media and website, and to food and other vendors.  In this way we ensured that our attendees had a pleasant environment, and that sponsors and vendors got a high value from participating.

With the Mayor's Office of Special Events as an eager partner, we are looking forward to making the Lancaster Craft Beerfest an annual tradition that continues to grow with more breweries and attendees in the future.
